J rocked the classic NYC black chic ensemble for her look of the day, but added some flair with her studded booties and dangle horn earrings!!! B did the coming season fall looks by layering her pieces and modeling the color blocking/pattern trends. Wish we were sitting front row with all of our fellow fashionistas!!! A chilly afternoon called for our fab faux fur coats!!! Although they weren't from the glamorous Rachel Zoe's line, our looks were inspired by her stylish ways!!! J did her coat with a simple green skirt for color, and added the perfect vintage bag that tied in all the natural tones perfectly!!! While B paired hers with some funky parachute pants, but dressed up the look with some sparkly earrings and a great evening bag!!!! Even though it was cold, we showed some skin with some bare legs and peeks of our toes!!! Little bit of skin is always in!!! Happy day all!!!

It was all about the brown and black color scheme for some fab looks!!! Parachute pants with an African inspired bustier was just the right amount of funkiness for B, but of course she added some great necklaces!!! We both opted for some lower heels for the day so we could look our age, but also be able to walk comfortably!!! Have a wonderful day!!

Spent a beautiful afternoon at one of our fav Hotels here in Austin, The San Jose, and both decided it was a perfect place to rock the boho look!!! Met some friends for some wine on their outdoor patio, and must admit we did not want to leave when we were done....and don't think that was just the wine talking!! Both of us stuck to nature tones...tan and green...for our style colors of the day, but of course did not skip on some glamorous accessories!! The pool, stairs, and overall aesthetics of the hotel is so cool, and not to mention relaxing!! Wine and champagne helped the zen factor of the day!! Although we didn't want to leave, thank god it is where we live so we have a permanent stay cation hideaway!!

A casual style of denim and braids were perfect for a sunny day of running around town!! Leopard print is our fav pattern to wear whenever we want to add some flair to a white or black top. Both of of us went for our skinny pants, but dressed around the fun styles in different ways. J's fab feathered collar necklace, by Catherine Abston, was a must buy for her with all the beautiful details and earth tones!! Even though it is 100 plus degrees here, a fabulous fringe jacket was not to be passed for B! With all their tasty fall items out, it was easy to start dreaming of chilly nights!! The evening was so much fun, and it didn't hurt that we left with fab goodies!!!

Shimmering in silver was a perfect way to dress for a fab evening at a trunk show at our fav Vintage store, Feather's Boutique!! So of course, both of our shiny frocks were from none other, than Feather's, and thought an impromptu photo shoot in front of a silver cupcake trailer was only fitting. The flashier, the better!! Pics were even more fun since we brought along our fav shopping buddy, Elizabeth, and we will have even more pics to post of us three girlie's later this week!!! Once we were done with the shoot, we had a blast with all the Feather's girls for the talented Catherine Abston trunk show!!! Her jewelry and bags are not only amazing, but so unique!! Not only did they have all of her beautiful pieces, but tons of new fab fall clothes and shoes!! We knew we were in trouble, aka our wallets, when we were lusting after basically everything!! Not surprising, none of us left empty handed, and could not be more excited about all of our purchases!!! Good times were 100% had by all!!!

A day of plain colors were the theme, but we both had to add a bit of the fun factor to our looks!!! J went to her comfy Tom shoes so her feet could be decorated with our fav color - gold and glitter, and added a flair of red with her scarf!!!! B chose her pop with her latest purchase from our fav vintage spot, Feathers! A tribal and colorful bag that is her new "go to" purse!!! Both of our looks provided a bit of a small shock factor due to J's white leggings and B's slit in her skirt, a tiny surprise just adds to our non traditional style!!! We never set limits when it comes to fashion; sometimes we shock ourselves in what we end up wearing out in public, but in a happy way!!!

This Texas heat has kept us from wearing our jeans, and we must say, we have been missing us some denim!!! Our solution was some jean pieces that don't overheat us!! B did her short cute overalls; while J did the sleeveless denim vest look!! Of course, both of us wore our comfy ballet flats, and kept our colors simple and classic!! Being outdoors brings some sweaty situations, but thank goodness our blue jean looks let us feel the breeze!!

These are the fashions we chose to rock to the event at the Mohawk; needless to say, both of us fell in love with our own looks! Also, posted an adorable pic with our beautiful neighbor, Elizabeth, who joined us on the fun girlie night! We both chose to wear our latest Evil Twin pieces from Dog and Pony. J wore hers as an over-throw to go with a rare color for us to wear, mustard, but it seemed to be the perfect shade to compliment her super unique necklace that is still one of fav purchases ever from Feathers. The weather was warm, but J was missing her fav shoes and they were perfect to finish off her look! B ended up being a little more daring in her top, as she ended up wearing it as a dress - but think it is more due to our height impairs ;D! Even though, it was shear in the back, our long locks and her black tights paired perfectly! Her look was finished with necklaces galore to decorate her neck from Feathers that only seemed to remind her that she wished she had added one more!

Had so much fun the other night at The Mohawk for Austin Psych Fest!! There was great music, but honestly we totally went for some pop up store shopping!!!! So of course, we brought our wonderful fav neighbor, and fellow shopping lover, Elizabeth, to drink while we shopped till we dropped! Our two "go to" shopping destinations, "Feathers Boutique" and "Dog and Pony," were the main attraction for us, and neither disappointed!! All three of us girls found some wonderful pieces, and discovered that drinking while shopping masks any guilt of overspending!! The Feathers Boutique and Moss ladies, Masha, Nikki, and Emily, are not only a blast, but have so many fabulous vintage finds and beautiful new pieces!! Lovely dresses and skirts were the theme purchases for us from their fab racks!! Star and B both wore the same Evil twin top from her store, Dog and Pony, and rocked them in their own stylish unique way!!! She had some of her new customized denim cut-offs on display that are perfect for any Texan fashionista trying to stay cool, literally!! All in all it was a fun and fashionable night!!!

Nails of Summer!! We love having paint on our nails, and experimenting with fun colors is always the best in the summertime!! Currently we are loving these two fab colors by Essie nail polish!! J is all about the light purple color, called "nice to be nice;" while B is loving her blue color with subtle sparkles mixed in, called "Smooth Sailing"!! Having color on one's nails can make any girl feel happy, and ready for a good time or shopping spree!! Have a fab day!!

Sequins and fringe were on display for a festive night of drinking and partying with friends! B dressed up her skinny jeans with a colorful floral shall that was brimmed with plenty of fun and fabulous fringe! J couldn't resist finally rocking her sequin leggings that she bought a while back, and paired them with a skin tone mini so no one could miss the sequins! Skin tones and white were a must to accentuate the nice tans we have been able to get due to this never ending drought, but must admit we are ready for some rain and clouds! All in all the looks went perfect with a fab night with friends!!

Spent the other afternoon visiting the fabulous Star Lee at one of our fav clothing boutiques here in Austin, Dog and Pony- owned by Star herself!! We seriously always can spend hours in her store visiting with her, and have a new puppy obsession with her super soft and adorable doggy, James! Not only does she have an amazing selection of clothing, vintage clothes, shoes, jewelry, and accessories galore, but she is just plain cool! We are modeling her new stamped bags for the store, and of course we wanted to pose in front of her dog and pony print on her store front window!! After some fun girlie chat, we of course browsed all of her new goodies in the store! Both of us fell in love with pieces from the line, Evil Twin! Not only did we think the name of the line was memorable, but the pieces were very unique and edgy without losing any femininity. Comfy leggings and ballet flats were our chosen attire for a not so fun day stuck at the DPS to renew our licenses!! So we had to pretty ourselves up, and both went for tops of color to hopefully get decent photos on our driver's licenses!!! J went for a forest green crochet tank to go her her classic cropped black leggings. While B chose her light pink calypso top, and added some fun by wearing it with her camo leggings. Thank goodness we both have good tans for our new photos!! The day was long, but at least we both took good photos that will be bearable to flash for the next ten years!!

Another Shady day, so Ray Bans were needed to protect our pretty brown eyes from the extreme sunshine! We both dream of being "evening dress girls," but in all actuality we are "t-shirt girls" on a daily basis. However, the fun lies in the fact we can dream up gowns till the day comes for our red carpet debuts!!! B wore the "T" look with a casual flare with jean shorts and vintage accessories; the straw bag made the look ever so beach ready! It was a perfect size for a wallet and phone, the must have necessities! The cherry's and the "Tiki" embroidery were just an added cuteness to the look! J's "T" look was definitely more dressed up with her high shoes and the fun shiny leggings! So we didn't look completely like we should not be going to the same place, she wore a fab vintage Givenchy scarf like a modern Gidget! Made her look a bit more summery and casual! Roller Disco!!!! Styled a 70's inspired shoot at a roller rink last week, and must say we want to bring back disco fashion asap!! All the girls were so much fun! Must admit that most of the pieces we used for the shoot were from our own personal closets; we are obsessed with Bianca Jagger, circa studio 54, after all!! The beautiful models, Shelby and Elena, were put in two very different 70's looks. Amanda Pye did the awesome make up on the gals using bright colors and glitter to coordinate with the outfits! While Misty Mittelstedt did a Farrah Fawcett inspired hair on Shelby and an old school Afro look on Elena, so fab!! We dressed Shelby in a shiny green Saturday Night Fever type of dress paired with big dangle earrings to glam up her old school roller skates! While we did a more Boogie Nights classic roller girl look on Elena with knee high socks, pink bootie shorts, a sequin halter, gold bangles, and of course some big gold hoops for her to boogie about on the rink in!! All in all, it was so much fun, and we can't wait to see all the amazing photos Krystal Malloy took at the shoot!!! Hope all have a fab day!!!

Flats were a must, especially since walking up and down South Congress Street requires some careful walking! This street has the best shops and restaurants, not to mention a great music venue and the fab Hotel San Jose! This warm weather definitely took its toll on us though, we only made it to a few shops, but saved our fav for last, Feathers! Vintage and jewelry galore!!! A glass of wine tipped off our little trip and it was perfect afternoon! The only way it could have been better is if we saw the newest Harry Potter film, but think we will wait till the crowds weed out!!!
