What a crazy day yesterday in Austin, UT on lock down from a shooting on UT campus! We decided to stay indoors for the 1st half of the day but after the craziness a beautiful day was what this city needed; and that is what it got!!!! J was feeling a bit on the jungle side while B went for the "Chanel" black and white look. Happy mid-week day!!!!

Rock and roll looks were our inspiration for a night out to check out some a new music act that we must say we loved!! Dressed the part of stylish groupies or as we like to think, "Band-aids." We so felt like we should be in "Almost Famous!!!" J was all about showing off some leg with tiny shorts and boots, while B glammed up her jeans with sparkly and funky scarves!! Love that here in Austin it is beyond beautiful at 75 degrees while in our old home, Santa Monica, it is record breaking heat!! Who what of thought!!

Both of us went for summer colors of white, tan, and pink for a day of shopping and exploring on South Congress. It was such a fun way to spend Saturday shopping on what is now our new fav street!!! Think this street is our new "Abbott Kinney!!!" While looking in some of the stores, we discovered a great one, "Maya." It kept us occupied for actually 2 hours, which is hard to do with us, and ended up both purchasing jewelry of course!! The rings we bought are both vintage inspired and must say completely awesome!!! They will be on the blog soon, promise!! Hope all have the best day!!!

On this night of these looks we explored a new area of our new town and we must say that we loved it!!! It was just the type of bar we would have wanted in Venice but now we get it here and love the outside area of a bar called Shangri-La! We still have a lot more to explore but so far we have loved all the little gems we have discovered in Austin!

Looks were taken on our lovely roof top terrace on an afternoon of stocking up on groceries at Whole Foods, and yummy wines at our fav place, Cost Plus!! Although, it was a casual day of errands, we both went for slight heels to add some sexy to our jeans and sunnies!!! Off to go hunt some fabric places to find good deals for amazing velvets and silks!!! Wish us luck!!
