Girly was the theme for our older sister's best friend's baby shower!! B did black and white with her dress ( so Chanel ;D), while J was all about the bright colors with her new Anthropologie dress ( so latin ;D)!! Although both of us did our hair in a braid, we went for different inspirational looks!! Sometimes we really do go for completley different looks and colors!! Off to enjoy the beautiful Austin day!!!

Fun and funky were the theme for our b-day celebration looks!!! Our boots were made for walking, and of course they had to be amazing and stylish for us to do so in!!! J chose to brighten her look with a blue mini dress to add color to her black boots while B's focus was the bright red in her new fringe boots so she opted to pair them with jeans. B's boots were her birthday present to herself from our new favorite vintage store, Feathers Boutique!!! Although most of the b-day celebrations are over, we have the ACL music festival this weekend!! Our pop's surprised us with three day passes for our b-day!! So guess we will still say it is our birthday again this weekend!!!

The actual b-day may have been yesterday, but the celebrating is only beginning!!! We both decided to change it to birth-week; there is two of us so think that is totally fair!! Who says there has to be a rule for Birthdays!!! Off to the Woodlands for the weekend to celebrate with our older sis and pop's so they better have some good vino to toast to us!!! What a crazy day yesterday in Austin, UT on lock down from a shooting on UT campus! We decided to stay indoors for the 1st half of the day but after the craziness a beautiful day was what this city needed; and that is what it got!!!! J was feeling a bit on the jungle side while B went for the "Chanel" black and white look. Happy mid-week day!!!!

Rock and roll looks were our inspiration for a night out to check out some a new music act that we must say we loved!! Dressed the part of stylish groupies or as we like to think, "Band-aids." We so felt like we should be in "Almost Famous!!!" J was all about showing off some leg with tiny shorts and boots, while B glammed up her jeans with sparkly and funky scarves!! Love that here in Austin it is beyond beautiful at 75 degrees while in our old home, Santa Monica, it is record breaking heat!! Who what of thought!!
