F. Scott Fitzgerald's, "The Great Gatsby," has always been a novel that the both of us have used to help shape the way we design. His descriptions of every scene embodies the spirit of what the 1920's was and what inspires fashions to this day. Flappers truly do, to this day, have some of the greatest style, and men dressed in dapper suits drinking champagne and enjoying life! We rediscovered this book in our pop's garage while we were home and can't stop obsessing over certain paragraphs with his portrayal of the events of all the characters!
"Gatsby believed in the green light, the orgastic future that year by year recedes before us. It eluded us then, but that's no matter-tomorrow we will run faster, stretch out our arms farther...And one fine morning-
So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past."
